Bay View is an example of an all-electric campus and shows what’s possible in regenerative building. The largest geothermal pile system in North America estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 48% and water used for cooling by 90%. First-of-its-kind dragonscale solar skin, equipped with 50,000 solar panels that have the capacity to generate nearly 4 megawatts and 40% of the building’s annual energy use. 100% electric campus, when combined with power from nearby wind farms, operates on 90% carbon-free energy. Collects, treats, and reuses all water on-site to be a net-positive water campus. Robust material vetting of over 3,000 to reduce Red List chemicals inside the building, biophilic design principles, all native plants and 96% of all wood installed is FSC Certified.
