LifeMoves - Mountain View

This new modular Supportive Interim Housing project provided an additional 10x year-round shelter beds for Mountain View. Completed from start to finish in 7 months, including virtual community outreach during the pandemic, working with six public agencies, and addressing environmental conditions with the regional water board of the repurposed industrial property. Off-site fabrication of modular units enabled rapid deployment. The team chose four different modular companies to test a variety of products due to speed, availability, and lessons learned for future projects.
